Siod Zdet Kez (/sjod/ /zdet/ [reverse] [mule]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Aa-55lrik Zone, Mijgake Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Siod Zdet Kez is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Siod Zdet Kez was founded by Norgalades Phomageet, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Siod Zdet Kez has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 4°C (39°F). Siod Zdet Kez receives an average of 78 cm/y (30 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Overview

Siod Zdet Kez was founded durring the late 20th century in early fall of the year 1964, by Norgalades Phomageet. The establishment of Siod Zdet Kez was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Norgalades Phomageet struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Siod Zdet Kez as a prison colony.

Siod Zdet Kez was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 20th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Siod Zdet Kez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Siod Zdet Kez is buildings are located arround a single crampt cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The failry decent fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Right off the bat Siod Zdet Kez hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

Cultural Notes

Siod Zdet Kez's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.
